In Conversation With Meike Peters & Helen Goh

Please join me to on 5th October at 7pm to celebrate the launch of Noon, the beautiful third cookbook by New York Times Bestseller and James Beard award winning food and travel writer and photographer, Meike Peters.

I am so excited to be In conversation with Meike together with Helen Goh as we discuss women in food, their cookbook writing journeys and career changes along the way.

Meike started her food blog Eat  in my Kitchen in 2013, wrote her first cookbook of the same name in 2016, and won 2017 James Beard Best Cookbook - General Cooking. In 2019, she returned with her second book 365: A Year of Everyday Cooking & Baking with a recipe for every day of the year. Both books were included in the New York Times Best Cookbooks lists. She continues to write her wonderful blog and host the brilliant Meet in my Kitchen podcast.

Helen’s career started as a psychotherapist before turning her hand to pastry. She moved to London from Melbourne and in 2006 joined Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi, first running their Kensington kitchens before becoming their lead product developer and co authoring Sweet with Yotam. She is an inspired and inspiring baker, currently finishing her next book on comfort foods and Recipe Columnist for Good Food Australia & Sydney Morning Herald as well as regular features in The Guardian and NYT Cooking.

Tickets to the event are £28 and includes some delectable samples of some of our favourite Noon recipes and a glass of Lallier Champagne (in true celebratory style) to accompany our conversation.

Copies of Noon will be available to purchase on the night and of course Meike will be happy to sign copies.
