Last week I officially kicked off the holiday season with the smallest Thanksgiving turkey ever to grace my oven.  Although most celebrations this year were unlike any other, or placed completely on hold for 2020, I still found myself relishing in the excuse to cook a festive meal (even if only for a few).

This year’s holiday prep was combined with a wonderful opportunity for a recipe collaboration with Crane Cookware, whose cast iron and stainless steel pans truly combine both beauty and function and are my most treasured cooking implements.  The capsule collection of exquisitely designed pieces are not only the best I have every cooked on, their simple artistry makes them the ultimate oven to table kitchen essential.

Here are links to two recipes especially for this time of year, to celebrate the season with a colourful feast that should not only be reserved for holidays.  I like to imagine that we all can make a paired down selection of our festive favourites any day, any week, any time.

Because this is the season for giving and because I always want to share the love (and help fulfil all your kitchen dreams) Crane have generously given me a 20% discount code to anyone who reads these pages.  Simply type BuildingFeasts into the box.  Happy shopping, happy cooking and happy holidays.
