Things I Love Right Now

I had a whirlwind trip to NYC at the end of last month but I did manage to squeeze in a seat at 2 of my favourite eateries. The bar at Frenchette is my happy place, where I can eat phenomenal steak tartare while sipping an exceptional dry martini and watch the local Tribeca world go by. And I shamelessly ordered enough food for 4 at Via Carota, a restaurant that never disappoints. The wait is always worth it.

I adored reading Lessons In Chemistry last year and have just binge watched the series on AppleTV. It has the perfect soothing pace to keep us company during the winter and it’s an absolute visual dream from the fabulous wardrobes to the mouth watering food shots. Not to mention a great story…….

Happily spending this month baking my way through my heroine, Nancy Silverton’s new book, The Cookie That Changed My Life. Keep your eyes peeled on Instagram for updates on what I’m making.

My Favourite Things Right Now

Gifting season is upon us people……..and if you are thinking about the perfect gift for the chocaholic in your life, this Pump Street Chocolate Rare Batch Subscription Box is a gift of dreams.

The new Honey & Co Daily is my current favourite hangout……bright and welcoming and the BEST babka in town (plus delicious coffee in mugs made by Sarit and Ittamar themselves).

A cinnamon raisin It’s Bagel! with a hefty schmear of cream cheese is my comfort food of choice this month. To shake things up I sometimes slather a toasted cinnamon raisin beauty with Manilife deep roast crunchy peanut butter, drizzled with honey and sliced banana. It’s a thing. You need it too.

My Favourite Things Right Now

I had such a blast hosting a Sofar Sounds this month. It was magical.

A self confessed stationery nut and I am never not without my Kaweco fountain pens – my essential accessory……

A simple cheese sandwich from Albatross & Venner was an absolute Copenhagen highlight.

No trip to Tel Aviv is complete without at least one meal at Ha Basta. It never disappoints…….
