Bastardised Boulevardier

This one is a doozie of a cocktail beaut. Think of it as the lovechild of a negroni and an old fashioned, this is a classic concoction of my favourite tipples.

I’ve adapted the original recipe and doubled the Rye (because there’s no party without punch) and added a hit of orange bitters for fun.

Feel free to use equal parts of everything instead, more negroni style, but whatever you do don’t forget the snacks alongside (my recent hot smoked salmon dip here would be a perfect sidekick).

Let’s toast your next level cocktail era.

Notes

  • You can batch make this for a crowd by multiplying the recipe for as many guests as you are entertaining. Keep it chilled and pour over ice to serve.
